You may request deletion of your personal data where processing is no longer necessary for the original purpose. Note: jilibe is required by PAGCOR and AMLC regulations to retain certain account and transaction records for a minimum of five years after account closure, even after an erasure request.
You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, or request restriction of processing where accuracy is contested or processing is unlawful. Objection to processing necessary for legal compliance (KYC, AML) is not available.
You may request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) for personal data processed by automated means under contract or consent.
Where processing is based on your consent (such as marketing communications), you may withdraw consent at any time through your jilibe account settings without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
If you believe jilibe has processed your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines at privacy.gov.ph. jilibe encourages you to contact our DPO first to attempt resolution before escalating to the NPC.
To exercise any of the above rights, contact jilibe's Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 15. Requests must include sufficient information to verify your identity before we can act on them.
Age is verified as part of the mandatory KYC process. If jilibe discovers that it has inadvertently collected personal data from a person under 21 years of age, the account will be immediately suspended, all funds held will be managed in accordance with PAGCOR's requirements, and the personal data of the minor will be securely deleted to the extent permitted by law.
Parents and guardians who become aware that a person under 21 in their household may have registered at jilibe are encouraged to contact jilibe's support team immediately via Live Chat or by emailing our DPO.
